While more than 7,000 companies participated in the fair, which is held every two years and has national participation by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, 345 companies from Turkey participated. In the fair, visited by 160,000 people from 119 countries, Turkey became the first country among the countries that organized national participation by an organizer.
This year, SIAL Paris, which was held with the theme of “Own the change”, attended SIAL Paris in 8 different categories: general food, biscuits, chocolate, confectionery, beverages, frozen food, food equipment and technologies, milk and dairy products, meat and poultry, organic food in Turkey. attended the hall.
Carrying 267 companies from Turkey and 7 companies as individual participants to Paris within the scope of national participation, Mars Air and Sea Cargo, besides transporting food for the fair, storage, handling, document preparation and control, overseas customs, stand delivery, temporary importation. It also provided the services of receiving the materials from the stand, customs clearance at the exit and shipment of the materials.
