At the "2023 Service Export Champions Awards" organized by the Service Exporters Association, Mars Logistics emerged as the champion in the Freight Transportation and Logistics Services category.
The award ceremony, hosted by Şekib Avdagiç, President of the Service Exporters Association (HİB), took place on Thursday, November 21, at the TİM Foreign Trade Complex Ömer Halisdemir Conference Hall. The event was attended by Trade Minister Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, Mustafa Gültepe, President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), and numerous representatives from service-exporting companies.
During the ceremony, awards were presented to a total of 54 companies in 18 different categories. The ranking was determined based on the foreign currency earned by the companies for the country. The award in the Freight Transportation and Logistics Services category was presented to Mars Logistics Board Member Dilek Kuru Elitez.
Gökşin Günhan, Member of the Board of Directors Responsible for Mars Logistics Road and Rail Freight, gave a speech related to the topic, stating: "It is a source of pride for us to contribute to the development of our country as Mars Logistics. Our success in this area is due not only to our strategic investments in areas like fleet, technology, green logistics, and storage but also to the dedicated efforts of every member of the Mars family."
Günhan continued by mentioning the investments Mars Logistics has made, saying, “With the strategic investments we’ve made, we are advancing further every day. By giving special attention to our intermodal and railway lines, we are steadily moving closer to our green logistics goals.”
Stating that Mars Logistics has one of the largest fleets in Europe, Günhan highlighted their recent investment in 1,000 new trailers and expressed confidence that this investment would further enhance the quality of services provided to customers. He concluded his speech by thanking his colleagues.
