70 Million Euros Strategic Investment from Mars Logistics

Dec 8 2025

Mars Logistics, a leading company in the logistics sector, is entering 2026 with a robust investment program. The company is further strengthening its operational capacity and position in the sector with investments totaling €70 million in trailers, tow trucks, wagons, and warehouses.

Mars Logistics Board Member Gökşin Günhan emphasized that every investment made serves the company's long-term vision, saying: "As Mars Logistics, we have been a company focused on investment, innovation, and sustainable development for over 35 years. The investment exceeding 70 million euros that we will make for 2026 is not just a plan that responds to today's needs, but a strong reflection of our long-term vision to shape the future of the logistics sector."

Trailer, Tow Truck, Wagon, and New Warehouse Investments

Günhan explained the scope of the investment as follows: "On top of the 1,000 trailers we invested in last year, this year we are adding 1,000 new trailers, 310 tow trucks, and nearly 100 finished vehicle wagons. The new 70,000 m² warehouses we will open in Istanbul, Bursa, and Trabzon will both increase our operational flexibility and take the quality of service we offer our customers to a new level."

Discussing the details of the finished vehicle logistics investment, Günhan said, “With our wagon investments, we aim to reach an annual vehicle transport capacity of nearly 50,000. As of January 2026, our finished vehicle train operations will officially begin, and we will become the largest railway player on the Türkiye-Europe route in this field.”

Noting that the total warehouse space across Türkiye has exceeded 400,000 m², Günhan said that “This level enables us to respond to increasing cargo volumes and deliver end-to-end solutions much more efficiently.”

With the completion of investments, Günhan stated that the company's fleet will reach 8,000 owned vehicles and continued: "Exceeding 8,000 owned vehicles will strengthen and integrate our road network covering all of Europe, the Balkans, and North Africa, as well as our more than 10 train lines. The 175,000 trips we will reach by the end of the year will be a natural reflection of this integration."

New Intra-Europe Train Projects to Begin in 2026

Stating that train investments are one of the most important steps in strengthening the intermodal structure, Günhan said, "We currently operate over 60 train trips per week. In addition, we plan to launch our new intra-Europe train projects in 2026. Thanks to this network, we will offer much higher capacity, a lower carbon footprint, and more competitive transit times in intra-Europe combined transport."

3,500 Weekly European Trips

Günhan also highlighted the volume of Mars Logistics' road operations: “Today, we manage one of Europe's highest-volume operations with 1,750 weekly export and 1,750 weekly import trips departing from Türkiye. Our position as Türkiye’s largest logistics company in the 2025 UBAK ranking is a natural result of this operational strength.”

Günhan mentioned the scale of domestic operations in Türkiye, saying, “We have significantly strengthened our domestic transportation operations and reached an annual freight capacity of 1,500,000 units. This growth enables us to offer faster, more widespread, and more flexible solutions to customer expectations across Türkiye.”

Champion of Service Exports for Two Consecutive Years

Assessing Mars Logistics' financial growth, Gökşin Günhan said, "Thanks to our operational strength, intermodal lines, road network, warehouse investments, and steps taken in finished vehicle logistics, Mars Logistics' turnover has reached €700 million. This growth is the tangible result of our sustainable and innovative logistics vision.“ He continued, ”Being ranked first for two consecutive years in the ‘Service Export Champions’ awards by the Service Exporters Association is the clearest indication of our commitment to sustainable, environmentally friendly, and innovative logistics. We will continue our investments in Türkiye and global markets without slowing down in the coming period."

The Strong Team and Trusting Customers That Make Success Possible

Günhan concluded his remarks as follows: "The scale and operational strength Mars Logistics has achieved today was made possible thanks to the hard work of our strong team, who have been with us for years and have become part of our corporate culture. The great dedication that continues every day in our vehicles, in the field, in the office, at terminals, and in warehouses is the real reward for every investment we make. At the same time, the cooperation of our valued customers, who have trusted us for years, is one of the biggest motivators for taking our vision even further. As Mars Logistics, we grow our success together with our team and our customers, shaping the future with a shared strength."
